More than getting
from A to B.
Knowing which bus to board, finding a seat and recognising the right stop can make public transport difficult for people with sight loss. Amelie explored how AI could support these everyday moments.
Start with the person.
I led the design at Cambridge Consultants. Working with Cam Sight, the team brought input from intended users into the concept—connecting technical possibilities with the realities of daily travel.
The right information.
At the right moment.
The concept combines a wearable camera, machine learning and audio guidance. It was designed to recognise the surroundings and offer relevant information, rather than rely on the user to ask what was in front of them.

Amelie received an iF Design Award in 2019. The project brought together inclusive design and AI in a concept focused on greater independence.
